The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred early Saturday in Hinesville.
According to a statement from the Hinesville Police Department, “The Hinesville Police Department was involved in an officer-involved shooting during the early morning hours of Saturday, August 29, at Frozen Paradise Bar & Grill.”

According to Hinesville Police Chief Tracey Howard, the person injured in the shooting is in stable condition.
