Community has helped animal shelter Editor, On behalf of Safe Hollow Animal Sanctuary, thank you very much for making our recent annual spring yard sale a huge success. I cannot begin to express the depth of gratitude in my heart for all the generosity bestowed upon the sanctuary. Because of the many thoughtful donations sent in by caring people, the sanctuary was able to raise over $1,300 at the yard sale. This money will be used to help with the cost of food, spaying/neutering and the numerous vet bills incurred through the sanctuary. Community has softened loss of teenager Editor, Over the past several weeks, our families have experienced the best of what living in a small community can offer. When my niece, Danielle, passed away suddenly, the outpouring of love, care and concern was immediate and heartfelt. We were overwhelmed with the number of people that Danielle knew and touched during her short time with us. She left a legacy to our family and to many others in the community that will live on forever. Opporunities for growth are exciting Editor, Change and growth, these are two words with much in common. As a pastor and a motivational speaker, these are two words I consistently tie together. It is a simple fact: Growth without change is impossible. Change is the reason that some people do not want growth. I am writing these things because I am seeing something great occur in our city.
