Allenhurst sets seal contest

Allenhurst is offering $100 to the artist who can best capture the history of the town.
The mayor and council have announced a competition for the design for a new town seal.
Contest entries should be submitted on card stock, heavy fiber paper or mounted on mat board no smaller than 10"x10" and no larger than 24"x24" with a tissue cover flap.
Name, address, phone number and school should be posted on the back of the piece.
If selected, Allenhurst will own all rights to the design.
Submissions must be received by June 30.

Criteria:
* Seal must be circular and two-color
* Text must include Town of Allenhurst and Established (or Est.) 1901
* Art must feature a cross sawblade, carriage with blade or sawmill
* Art must also include a tree or log
