Officials recently announced the selection of a logo for the MidCoast Regional Airport at Wright Army Airfield, as well as a tagline that touts the joint-use facility as Georgia's Executive Choice.
The logo and tagline are to appeal to corporate executives who fly personal, corporate and chartered aircraft into the area to conduct business, consider the community as a potential location for their business, or simply spend some personal time on the coast.
Georgia's Executive Choice was selected as the tagline, because officials want to convey that MidCoast is a preferred airport offering superior quality of service and facilities.
"At MidCoast, pilots and passengers will find the modern conveniences and amenities found in international airports like free wifi, pilots lounge, VIP room, rental car options and aviation gas and jet fuel, but they will not have to deal with the hassle of standing in lines or waiting for service," said Mark Davidson, accredited airport executive, general manager of the airport. "From the moment the aircraft taxis down the runway at Wright Army Airfield, our staff is ready to demonstrate why MidCoast is considered Georgia's Executive Choice."
MidCoast Regional Airport's civilian terminal and ramp opened in November, and the facility and fixed base operations are being managed by ABS Aviation Management Services, LLC, an affiliate organization of Airport Business Solutions.
