Gilbert, Elam wed in Florida

Natalie Suzanne Gilbert and Justin Earl Elam were joined in marriage on May 22, 2010, on the beach in Panama City Beach, Fla. Their union is blessed by a daughter, 4-year-old Aubrey Rebekah. The sunset ceremony was attended by close friends and relatives from Hinesville, Carrollton, Atlanta and San Antonio, Texas. Erin Langley, lifelong friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. The groom’s brother, Clay Elam, was best man. A reception at the Watercrest Clubhouse followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Warden Gilbert of Carrollton. She is the granddaughter of JoAnn Spinks Bohanon and the late Don C. Bohanon, the late Jeff Edwards, the late Becky Lawler Gilbert and the late Aubrey Gilbert.
Natalie is a 2001 graduate of Carrollton High School. She served in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman for five years before being honorably discharged.  She currently is studying for a nursing degree at West Georgia Technical College.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Elam Jr. of Hinesville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boatright and the late Jimmie Moody and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Elam Sr.
Justin is a 1998 graduate of Bradwell Institute. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2005 with a bachelor’s of science degree in business management. He is the branch manager of American General Finance in Carrollton.
The couple will reside in Carrollton.
