He was born at Candler Hospital in Savannah and weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 18-1/2 inches. His maternal grandparents are the Rev. Major and Mrs. Deborah Dykes of Fleming. His paternal grandparents are Dr. Glenn and Mrs. Deborah Casey of Delkenheim, Germany, and Mr. Randy and Mrs. Charlene Harchar of Waverly Hall. He is welcomed by his sister, Reagan.
