Miangel Mulani Kimani Smith was born to Chiquita and Chad Smith of Midway at 2:17 p.m. Jan. 20.
Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Miangel weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 18 inches.
Her maternal guardians are Charlene and Darrell Taste of Hinesville. Her paternal grandparents are Frank Smith and Cathy Oliveira of Midway. She is also welcomed by sisters, Lamani and Traeh Stickland, and a brother, Octavius Lewis. Her godparents are Latasha Trotter and Christopher Walcott.
