Area leaders pray for soldiers, country and less fortunate.

On Saturday, area officials gathered for the Mayor's 7th Annual Thanksgiving prayer service. The service was held at Hinesville's First United Methodist Church. Rep. Al Williams (D-Midway) and the 3rd Infantry Division senior commander, Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Phillips, were two of nearly a dozen speakers.
