With the game tied 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Lady Panther Cassidy Collum displayed her patience and pitching savvy. The Lady Panthers had bases loaded but two outs. Focused and knowing she was ahead in the count with three balls and one strike, Collum waited as the pitch came her way and saw that it was high and outside.

Lady Tiger Mackenzie Stewart tossed five strikeouts and was three for three at bat but it wasn't enough to hold off the Statesboro Blue Devils on the softball field Thursday. The Statesboro girls beat Bradwell, 8-1, in a Region 3-AAAAA contest on the Lady Tigers' field.

Highlanders earn first win of school’s football program

It took two and a half years, a lot of hard work, sheer determination and always keeping the faith. Friday night all the bumps, bruises and losses seemed worth it as the First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlander football team earned their first win of their football program beating Crisp Academy18-6 at home.
