The Panthers’ soccer season is moving in the right direction. The boys won two consecutive region victories and tied for a non-region game, and the girls won their last three games.

On Friday, the teams were at Donell Woods Field where the girls took a 3-0 region win against visiting Washington County.

According to coach Jarvis McArthur, the goals were scored by Mystery Ellert, Sam Gonzales and Ashlee Howe.

The next day, the girls went to Thomson and walked away with a 4-1 win. Ellert, Howe, Taylor Christner and Jeanna Rountree scored goals.

On Monday, the girls beat Pierce County 3-0 in a non-region game. Ellert, Gonzales and Jasmine Kelly scored goals.

The boys beat WACO 1-0 on Friday night at home and defeated Thomson 5-4 on Saturday.

Against Pierce County, the boys were up 2-1 in the first after Robby Bacon kicked in two goals. The Bears rallied, however, and the game ended tied at 3.
