SAVANNAH — The GACA North vs. South All-Star Basketball Classic, presented by CitiTrends, will celebrate its seventh year in Savannah on Saturday-Sunday, March 20-21. The classic is a Greater Savannah Sports Council-managed event. The council partners with the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association.

The game will feature the top male and female high school athletes from across Georgia, including Bradwell Institute junior standout Mariah Maternik and Liberty County High School seniors Rion Brown and Jordan McRae.

The junior boys and girls all-star game will be played March 20 and the senior boys and girls play March 21. Both games have 2 p.m. tip-offs and will be followed by the boys all-star games 4 p.m. each day. The North vs. South All-Star Basketball Classic annually draws about 2,500 fans to Savannah State University’s Tiger Arena.
