3rd ID soldier dies in Iraq

A soldier from Fort Stewart died of non-combat related injuries last week while serving in support of Operation Iraqi freedom. His death is still under investigation.
Pfc. Jaiciae L. Pauley, 29, of Austell died on Friday in Kirkuk, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
Pauley was an ambulance aide driver. He joined the Army in June 2008 and came to Fort Stewart in January of this year.
"This was his first deployment," said Kevin Larson, Fort Stewart Public Affairs media chief.
Pauley's remains arrived at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.
