The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released the identity of the man found dead Friday night in South Bryan County.

Jack Harley, 34, of Savannah, was reportedly found dead on the pavement near the shoulder of Clarktown Road around 11:30 p.m. Nov 27 by a motorist.

According to Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent Micah Ward, who released Harley's name Monday afternoon, calls to the Bryan County Sheriff's Department led authorities to discovering his identity.

The case is under investigation.
