A woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Hinesville.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of E.G. Miles Parkway and Pineland Avenue.
The 36-year-old woman, whose name has not been release, was riding east on the motorcycle. At the same time 2005 Dodge pickup was headed westbound when the driver tried to turn left, but collided with the motorcycle, according to Hinesville Police traffic accident investigator Sgt. Mike Mooney.
The truck's driver told police he did not see her coming.
She woman was taken to Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart where she was later pronounced, according to Mooney.
Charges are pending in the accident.
