Hello, everyone. Tight Line Jr. here and I hope y’all are doing well out there.

Ol’ Tight Line is hanging in there and sends out greetings to everyone. I want to give a big shout out to a buddy of mine, Capt. Eric Moody down on Jekyll Island. Y’all should look him up at Coastal Expeditions if you head down that way.

Here are a few reports from the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire.

My neighbors at Planting Hammock had a good week. Red Davis and Larry Gaddy fished for three days and caught trout, spottail bass and flounder. I’ll stop by this weekend for some fish and grits.

Jim Williams and David Jones caught the limit on trout using live shrimp.

The dock tour was short but sweet this week. Boo, Lu and I docked two sheepshead, two spottail bass and three black sea bass.

Yellow Bluff has live shrimp and minnows and Halfmoon Marina has live shrimp.

Big Rudy at the Sunbury Country Store has fresh frozen shrimp and squid. Sunbury Crab Company and Marina has live shrimp and minnows.

Here is a little something mom always says, "The grass grows green and everything is going to be all right."

I love my mom and those are words to live by.

Remember what Ol’ Tight Line says and get out there and get fishing. And if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.

I always say hit the docks, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down. So, get out there and wet a hook.

Your friend,

Tight Line Jr.
