Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jones Jr. of Midway announce the engagement of their daughter, Shayla Jones, to Dominick Parker, son of Dr. and Mrs. Delano Parker of Warner Robins.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jones Sr. of Riceboro and Mrs. Bernice Bacon and the late Mr. William Bacon of Midway.
She is a 2004 graduate of Liberty County High School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia State University with a managerial sciences degree. She works as an insurance accounts specialist with State Farm Insurance in Savannah.
The groom-elect is
the grandson of Mrs. Helena Parker and the late Mr. Melvin Parker of Goldsboro, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Arno Kurz of Germany.
He is a 2000 graduate of Bradwell Institute and a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a finance degree. He currently works as the admissions director for the Hinesville Housing Authority.
The couple was engaged on Dec. 24, 2008, and will marry this June in Savannah.
