Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dale Smith of Allenhurst announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Renee Smith, to Gregory Dean Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Allen Sr. of Ludowici and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dean Rogers of Jesup.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Freeman and Thelma Smith of Hinesville and the late Carlos and Agnes Moody of Allenhurst.
She is a 2001 graduate of Bradwell Institute and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Columbia Southern University. She works at Liberty Regional Medical Center.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late James and Louise Rogers of Ellabell and Dean and Susan Horton of Shellman Bluff and Joyce and the late Jim Calvert of Ludowici.
He is a 2000 graduate of Long County High School. He is works at Interstate Paper, LLC.
The couple will be married at 5 p.m. May 9 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Fred Boozer officiating.
The reception will be in the church’s social hall immediately after the wedding.
No invitations are being sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
