City, county celebrate Small Business Week
Small Business Week 1
Hinesville Mayor Karl Riles signs a proclamation for Small Business Week.

Hinesville Mayor Karl Riles and Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette each signed proclamations declaring the week of April 28 until May 4 is to be recognized as National Small Business Week.

All week-long residents are encouraged to visit and celebrate local small business owners. The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and McManamy Jackson Hollis, LLC will celebrate by co-hosting a Happy Hour event at the Parrot & Frog, on May 1 from 5-6 p.m.

“We are more than happy to celebrate small businesses as they are the foundation for every community, especially Liberty County. Special thank you to Mayor Riles and Chairman Lovette for their continuous support of current and future small business entrepreneurs,” said Leah Poole, president and CEO of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.
